We view every project—large and small—as an opportunity to help our clients deliver their message in a way that will shape perceptions, build relationships, and create a unique, consistent and lasting impression.
Our team of creative design activists collaborate closely with our clients throughout the entire process. Beyond our core design team, we have a wide network of talent that allows us to build teams to meet specific project needs. The network includes developers, photographers, illustrators, videographers, writers, printers and manufacturers.
Principal and Creative Director
Carrie’s two decades of design experience inform her creative leadership at CC:S, which she founded in 2005. Her uncompromising aesthetic sensibilities have contributed to the success of innumerable marketing and branding initiatives—including the design of identity systems, and digital and print campaigns—for nonprofit organizations and businesses large and small. Carrie’s award-winning work has been showcased in numerous industry publications such as HOW and PRINT magazines. Prior to opening CC:S, she worked at Neo Design Group Inc. and Waters Design Associates, in New York City. Carrie holds a bachelor of science degree in Graphic Design from the College of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning at the University of Cincinnati.
Sylvia de Martino
NYC Creative Director & Partner
Sylvia brings to CC:S many years of design management experience. Throughout her career, Sylvia has led creative initiatives for a multitude of private and non-profit sectors: ethics & compliance, financial, technology, health, education, and fundraising. She has held in-house creative director positions at global companies—Nasdaq, LRN, and BearingPoint—where she gained deep knowledge of rebrands and brand management. Prior to her corporate life, Sylvia was principal of DesignSpeak, a NYC-based design firm, and Art Director at Ruder Finn public relations. Sylvia holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from Parsons, where she has also taught courses in Corporate Design.
Jen Gianquitti Dech
Prior to joining CC:S, Jen held creative leadership positions at several global brands. At CVS Health, Jen led the art direction for high impact solutions that translated customer insights into a brand experiences. As an art director at The Wall Street Journal, Jen was part of the WSJ Magazine brand launch team. Jen was responsible for the rebrand design of media kits and marketing materials for Art + Auction, Modern Painters, Museums Magazine, and Shape Magazine. Jen holds a master’s degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Keene State College in Keene, NH.
Haley brings a fresh eye to each project with her exceptional typographic, composition, and illustration skills. She supports senior leadership during concept, design and production phases. Prior to joining CC:S, Haley worked as a designer for Studio Rainwater in Providence, RI. She is also a member of AIGA Rhode Island. Haley holds a bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University.
Digital Development Partner
Tilda’s humble origins as a rescue don’t hinder her self-confidence as a champion barker whenever anyone approaches the door at CC:S. Greeting the team each morning with enthusiastic wags and licks, Tilda keeps stress levels low and design inspiration high at our Rhode Island office. Among her favorite things are picking color palettes, snoozing under blankets, and chasing a ball at the beach.
