Principal & Creative Director
Carrie’s 24 years of design and business experience inform her creative leadership at CC:S, which she founded in 2005 in New York City.
With a belief that design thinking can positively impact all businesses, she helps clients create meaningful connections with their audiences. Carrie leads the concept and design development across all touch points including print, digital, and environments for CC:S clients.
Prior to founding CC:S, she was lead designer at Neo Design Group, Inc., and senior designer at Waters Design Associates in New York City, working on branding and design projects for clients such as IBM, PwC, International Paper, and American Museum of Natural History.
Carrie holds a bachelor of science degree in Graphic Design from the College of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning (DAAP) at the University of Cincinnati. The DAAP design program was founded on Bauhaus principles and curriculum, which espoused aesthetics, mindfulness, craft, and balance, and remains the driving force behind the studio’s design approach. Carrie is also a 2019 graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program and a member of the AIGA.
Jen provides day-to-day art direction to the design team and account management at CC:S. Prior to joining CC:S, she held creative leadership positions at several global brands. At CVS Health, Jen designed high-impact solutions that translated customer insights into brand experiences. As an art director at The Wall Street Journal, she was part of the WSJ Magazine brand launch team. Jen was responsible for the rebrand of media kits and marketing materials for Art + Auction, Modern Painters, Museums Magazine, and Shape Magazine.
Jen holds a master’s degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Keene State College in Keene, NH.
As a senior designer at CC:S, Haley brings a fresh design aesthetic to each project with her exceptional typographic, composition, and illustration skills. She is an integral part of all phases of a project from concept and design to production. Prior to joining CC:S, Haley worked as a designer for Studio Rainwater in Providence, RI. She is also a member of AIGA Rhode Island.
Haley holds a bachelor of science degree in Graphic Design from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.
Production and Motion Graphics Director
Rob started his journey with CC:S in 2009 where he found his passion for print and digital media production. As Production and Motion Graphics Director, he brings his multifaceted talents and problem-solving skills to each project. “I love making ideas work!”
With a background in video and photography, he uses his trained eye to bring projects to life, whether through adding motion to a beautiful design, giving that special photo some sparkle, or making sure collateral is sent out looking its best.
Prior to joining CC:S, Rob worked as producer and photographer at Corbis and Rob Chatterson Photography in New York, NY.
Rob holds a BFA in Photography from The School of Visual Arts in New York, NY where he graduated with honors. He is also a trained I.T. professional holding CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications.
Digital Experience Director
Ka brings over 20 years of digital design and development experience to his role as director of digital experience at CC:S. His unique aptitude for both front-end and back-end design and development makes him an invaluable contributor to CC:S’s digital projects, ensuring a product that excels in both form and function.
Over the course of his impressive career, Ka has created digital experiences for Reuters, Multex, UN, UNICEF, PwC, and Time Warner Book Group, among others. His work has been featured in various trade publications such as Communication Arts, Print, and HOW Magazine.
Ka graduated from Kutztown University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design in Kutztown, PA.
Digital Strategy Director
With a passion for improving user experience and increasing conversion rates, Miguel is an incredible resource for any business looking to grow online.
After more than 24 years working in online services and e-commerce, Miguel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to each project he takes on. He has served large and small brands across the country in website design, usability, operations and project management. Each position has enhanced his abilities and given Miguel invaluable insights into the minds of consumers.
His strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and desire to help others enable Miguel to excel in boosting various organizations’ revenues and conversions. The goal with every initiative he takes on is to make the client standout as a leader in their respective industry for their target audience.
Miguel has a BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown University. When he’s not busy studying new ways to bolster CRO, Miguel enjoys photography, investing and fitness.
Francesca joined the CC:S team as Junior Designer following her graduation in summer of 2022. Her lifelong interest in fine arts led to her passion for design. While studying, Francesca was president of the Moravian Chapter of Kappa Pi International Art Honor Society and won an annual product branding competition directed by Crayola. Francesca’s knack for illustration remains evident in her design work, as does her keen eye for typography and branding.
Francesca holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic and Interactive Design from Moravian University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Senior Production Designer
Kim brings over 23 years of print and digital production experience to CC:S. With her keen eye and attention to detail, Kim provides production, organization, and management support on a wide range of projects. Her past experience includes working as a production designer on projects for large companies including Goldman Sachs and S&P Dow Jones Indices.
Kim holds a bachelor of science degree in Graphic Design from the College of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning at the University of Cincinnati.
As our brand strategy partner, Tino comes to branding with an unexpected background. As a former military officer in the army of Singapore who went to art school, Tino discovered his niche by combining his experience in operations with creativity. His passion is helping companies and startups leverage the power of brand strategy, design thinking, and design doing in order to maximize their position in their market. Tino has spent a decade building creative cultures and collaborative teams at agencies in New York and startups in Silicon Valley.
Content Strategist and Writer
With a passion for writing and a diverse background spanning an array of artistic fields, David brings a unique perspective to his role as Content Strategist and Writer at CC:S. Hailing from Los Angeles, his storytelling and communication abilities have been honed over the years through various creative endeavors, including poetry, painting, photography, game design, illustration, screenwriting, and copywriting, all of which have contributed to his fresh approach to content.
As an award-winning screenwriter and graduate of UCLA’s esteemed Professional Program in TV Writing, David’s work has received over 30 accolades, including a Grand Prize Award at StoryPros and finalist distinctions in renowned competitions such as Final Draft’s Big Break. David has also published and illustrated two children’s books and developed and designed multiple games.
David leverages his extensive experience to expertly develop content strategies that forge authentic connections with his target markets. With a deep understanding of how audiences think and a talent for crafting compelling narratives, David is excited to help clients to achieve their marketing goals.
