The Association for Jewish Studies (AJS) is a learned society whose mission is to advance research and teaching in Jewish Studies at colleges, universities, and other institutions of higher learning, and to foster greater understanding of Jewish Studies scholarship among the wider public.
CC:S created new brand identity that is engaging, relevant, approachable and transformative to help AJS reach new audiences and continue their mission of excellence. The symbol’s open letterforms and gentle curves suggest the infinite possibilities and pathways of learning and growing.
CC:S developed a color-coded design system and image library comprised of global architectural details to help differentiate the AJS programs and events. A user-friendly suite of InDesign and Powerpoint templates, including brochures, stationery, postcards, flyers and social graphics, were created for the AJS team to build out materials in-house. A new, bolder design was extended to the bi-annual journal, Perspectives, introducing more varied page templates and pacing and color-coded sections.
