In 2018, CC:S helped Claritas reshape its brand identity and positioning to help the 40-year old company shift from identifying as a segmentation company to a customer company. Responding to market shifts Claritas acquired three new businesses, adding services and technology to serve clients more effectively and to grow the enterprise. In early 2020, CC:S helped Claritas translate the depth of its new capabilities externally by evolving the creative style and crafting a strong messaging strategy connected to the business. The challenge was to align on a single brand vision and organize the company’s diverse solutions around new positioning to increase value in the minds of both existing and prospective customers.
The goals of the refresh were to simplify the story about Claritas’ offerings, clarify how to work with Claritas, showcase differentiation and be more tech-forward. The outcome was a new, bolder visual design and a clear and compelling communication platform that was extended across all touchpoints: website, platforms, sales presentations and templates, infographics, brochures, reports, swag, internal communications and external digital marketing campaigns.
